Only I wish I could buy on eBay or somewhere outside Mexico. Taste is great for someone who cannot have regular chocolates.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2960487710033636977.post-74946139155692078722019-05-08T13:55:10.768+01:002019-05-08T13:55:10.768+01:00Did you know it is a chocolate that supposed to be...Did you know it is a chocolate that supposed to be used to make milk chocolate? <br />Regarding: "The bar hadn't traveled very well and had a slight bloom and was quite scuffed" Did you know is almost manually crafted into the chocolate, not like the other industrialized chocolates?

I have traveled many places and tasted chocolate from many countries (Switzerland, Germany, France) and have also tasted chocolate that is very high in cocoa and low in sugar. This Mexican chocolate doesn't even register on the scale. The Chili Chocolate did not have a hint of chili in the taste, and neither did the coffee one. They both tasted the same. It doesn't even melt in your mouth when you suck on it for a long time. Absolute worst chocolate ever! PS I am not American.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2960487710033636977.post-91182116587342110872016-11-12T19:21:18.390+00:002016-11-12T19:21:18.390+00:00Yeah, this is the best chocolate that I taked in m...Yeah, this is the best chocolate that I taked in my life. I'm glad to hear you give it an 8 out of 10 because I also bought 2 bars of just plain chocolate with 70% cacao. It tastes very much like soap! I gave a bar to my parents and they gave it back to me. I didn't throw it away because I paid $11.50 American a piece for them. I've even laid it out on the counter for my husband to eat but he won't touch it. I would not buy this chocolate again. Esp. the snark comments on Americans and their inability to taste things pure and unadulterated (look at their love of Chipotle Grill despite the flavors and the sickness--or is it the sweet flavor of a good investment that they savor?). Maria Tepoztlan Xocolatl is indeed a shock as many state, and it is a bit sweet as well, but for those who can use it, it's the kind of shock we all need. It's real. But in a world of not very real things, from goods to relationships, the real might appear dreamlike, if not nightmarish. JBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17244540436201320770noreply@blogger.com
